Spsort Tablets

Spsort 200 Tablet contains ketoconazole, an antifungal medicine that works by interfering with the formation of fungal cell membranes, helping stop the growth of susceptible fungi. Oral ketoconazole is generally reserved for situations where other suitable antifungal treatments are unavailable, not tolerated, or have failed because it can cause serious adverse effects.

Helps treat certain serious fungal infections
May be prescribed for susceptible systemic fungal infections such as histoplasmosis, blastomycosis and other specific infections.
Helps inhibit the growth of susceptible fungi in the body.

Take Spsort 200 only when prescribed by a doctor.
Take the tablet exactly according to the prescribed dose and duration.
Swallow it with water; do not crush or chew unless specifically advised.
The dosing schedule depends on the infection and individual patient factors. A commonly referenced adult starting dose for systemic fungal infections is 200 mg once daily, but do not use this as a self-treatment dose.
Do not stop treatment early without consulting your doctor.
